The “Project for the Analysis of Turkey’s Current Situation within the Scope of Sustainable Development Goals” of The Turkish Ministry of Development was launched on February 27, 2017 by Escarus.

It is common knowledge that the document titled “Transforming our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”, which sets the agenda for sustainable development on a global scale, was adopted at the UN Sustainable Development Summit held on September 25-27, 2015. Within the context of the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and 169 Sustainable Development Objectives were identified, to be achieved until the year 2030. The project aims to analyze Turkey’s current situation and develop policy recommendations based on the findings within the context of the Sustainable Development Goals and Objectives.
