Stakeholder analysis involves analytical work to reveal an entity’s perceptions and material topics for sustainability from the perspective of its stakeholders. Escarus offers both quantitative and qualitative perspectives in stakeholder analyses, usually structured around both of these research components. The combination of both methods helps reveal the stakeholder experience closest to the truth. The same logical framework is used in both in-depth interviews and surveys so that the resultant analysis can be holistic. Thereby, qualitative and quantitative components complement and feed one another.
Escarus uses online surveying methods for the quantitative component of a stakeholder analysis and assesses the participants’ perceptions and material topics for sustainability. The qualitative component involves revealing perceptions and attitudes through in-depth interviews with target audience in regular work environment.
Within the scope of Double Materiality Analysis, Escarus provides an independent methodological framework that addresses sustainability topics across two key dimensions: “impact materiality” and “financial materiality.” In this analysis, both the impacts of an y’s activities on the environment and society and the potential effects of sustainability topics on the y’s financial value and performance are assessed simultaneously. This holistic approach enables organizations to manage their risks and opportunities from a more strategic perspective and to strengthen their sustainability vision with financial realities.
